William Chris Vineyards – Vintage Texas Wine Comes to Chicago

Calling themselves “winegrowers” instead of “winemakers”, both William Blackmon and Chris Brundrett of William Chris Vineyards in Texas have a combined 35 years of experience in crafting renowned wine. Their focus on structure and delicacy translates to a delicious glass of vintage excellence.

Standing impressively in the vineyards is the 1905 Deike family farmhouse, which is where guests can relax in the comfort of old architecture. Wine tastings are offered on different levels, from sipping from a glass at a bar to large group tastings for the Hye Society. The Hye Society at William Chris Vineyards is made of wine club members, who have access to experience the winery at its finest. Wine tastings on the patio include music and small bites, or groups can choose to tour the facility and sample wine straight from the barrels.

Lucky for us, William Chris wines are coming to Chicago! This October 7th and October 8th, wine and food connoisseurs alike can choose between a dinner at The Gage or Nico Osteria for an unforgettable evening of wine and food pairings in the Windy City!

The Gage Chicago is an iconic building from the late 1800’s, now just steps from Millenium Park and The Art Institute. The menu features rustic American fare. The William Chris Vineyards dinner will be held on October 7th at this location.

Nico Osteria, part of Thompson Hotels Chicago, offers breakfast, lunch and dinner, and features elegant Italian seafood. Set in the Gold Coast neighborhood of Chicago, diners can expect a one-of-a-kind fine dining experience. The William Chris Vineyards dinner will be held on October 8th at this location.
