April Showers Bring May Flowers – Upcoming Orlando Events
April is rapidly coming to a close, and the first week of May is chock full of local events to help us cruise into summer. Check out some ongoing and upcoming Orlando events to welcome us into a new season.
On May 2, K Restaurant is hosting a Greek Dinner. Join fellow foodies at the College Park hotspot for a five-course Greek wine and food pairing. Some highlights will include a mezze starter paired with Alpha Estate Malagouzia; grilled swordfish and octopus, paired with Douloufakis Liatiko Red; and of course honey cake, alongside Kir-Yianni Akakies Spkl Rosé.
The event will be held from 6:30PM-8PM, and cost is $125 per person (including tax and gratuity). Reservations are required, so be sure to call or RSVP online.
Family Meal Mondays at K Restaurant.
K Restaurant has also launched “Family Meal Mondays”. Monday dinners are now made easy with Chef Ryan and Chef Michelle’s family meal dinners from 5PM-9PM. From roasted chicken to spaghetti & meatballs, check weekly to see what is on the menu. Reservations are recommended, and can be made on OpenTable or by calling 407-872-2332. The cost is $15 per person and requires a minimum of three guests.

Also on our radar is Pizza in the Field, a sweet event taking place on May 1. Join Chef Bruno Zacchini and team from Pizza Bruno for an intimate three course dinner outdoors at Sugar Top Farms. Sugar Top Farms is a small scale, organic farm, producing high quality produce for the local community in an environmentally sustainable fashion.
The farm tour beings at 6PM, followed by dinner. Tickets are $40+ per person with an additional $25 wine pairing available. Tickets and more info are available here. Sugar Top Farms is located at 13350 Sugarloaf Court in Clermont.
