Toro Toro Thanksgiving Menu Tasting

Toro Toro Thanksgiving

Located inside the Intercontinental Miami hotel, Toro Toro is home to Chef Richard Sandoval and his creative dishes. He is such a pleasant guy, greeting each and every one of us personally with a handshake. It’s honestly those small details that make the difference. I was lucky enough to try the new Toro Toro Thanksgiving menu and get an inside look of the new private dining spaces inside the restaurant. The tasting of the menu took place inside a private chef’s dining area right inside the kitchen! It had a huge flat screen t.v. on which we could watch the cooks create our food and it was sound proof! So awesome!

The tasting at the Toro Toro Thanksgiving dinner started off with a tuna tiradito. It came with a pomegranate ponzu, chile, and crispy ginger. It was so fresh and perfectly complemented the thanksgiving theme.

We also had a fresh arugula salad with goat cheese, cranberries, and slivered almonds. It came drizzled with a delicious vinaigrette.

Brussels sprouts! My favorite vegetable ever! These Brussels sprouts at Toro Toro Thanksgiving did not disappoint. They came with chopped bacon, Parmesan cheese, and  a honey sauce. I went in for seconds and maybe even a third helping, but it was so worth it. I’m currently wishing I had some right now…..

Thanksgiving wouldn’t be complete without stuffing. Toro Toro delivered an amazing Thanksgiving feast which included their super moist and delicious stuffing. Everyone at the table was having seconds!

We also had green bean casserole, that came topped with lots of crispy fried onions. Another classic dish beautifully delivered by Toro Toro Chef Richard Sandoval.

Now…. the most important part of any meal… the meat! We were fed until we couldn’t eat anymore. That’s the only way to go! The chef prepared chipotle sage glazed turkey, pork, pig roast, beef… you name it, we had it. The best one in my opinion was the pig roast. I mean just look at it! It came with its crispy, salty skin which honestly could’ve been eaten as chips. It was so juicy and tender.

Finally… dessert! We were honestly spoiled at the Toro Toro Thanksgiving dinner. We got to try the pumpkin suspiro, Toro Toro tres leches with mango mousse, and flan. The tres leches was by far the best! Loved how moist and flavorful it was. The presentation was awesome but the flavors were even better. The pumpkin suspiro was very light and heavily flavored of pumpkin. You can never go wrong with flan, and this one was no exception. A little bit of sugar at the end of such a savory meal is always the best way to end a feast.
