Smiling faces of friends and strangers take in all they can as glorious and melodious music fills the air. At night, the trippy forest comes alive as lights and lasers dazzle and dance with you in sheer amazement. Hulaween is always superb and we are going to highlight some MUST SEE acts at Hualween 2018! Get your tickets HERE…

1) Kasbo

Kasbo is brilliant music mad scientist! He will take you on an Odesza like journey that seamlessly mixes astonishing tracks. This young stallion is blowing up the scene making his way into ODESZA-founded Foreign Family Collective. This innovative and extremely talented producer hails from Sweden, definitely bringing in those electro-house elements with some hip-hop inspired sound. He’s mastered the art of the remix taking jewels like Big Gigantic’s Little Things and making the remix even better than the original. Get lost in this phenomenal track for a mere taste of Kasbo…

2) Lettuce

Lettuce is Hulaween family! Their staple Funk psychedelic music is becoming popular as more artists are crossing genres and experimenting with new sounds.  One of the stand outs of this new format is Lettuce. Not to be confused with it’s plain, bland vegetable namesake, Lettuce takes you on musical adventures to the depths of experimentation.  They are so funky and tight with a sick light show. Check out this fantastic track…

3) Odesza

Odesza will take your soul on an epic unforgettable journey. Their album a A Moment Apart is a modern day Masterpiece!! Harrison and Clayton are on fire pushing their show to new levels. More percussion, lights and lasers accompany a full sound which Odesza has always been known for. We are hoping they still bring out a full on marching band for some of their tracks…

4) TOO MANY ZOOZ

Too Many Zooz are a busking phenomenon born in the subways of New York City. Their unique sound somehow manages to smash together jazz, Afro-Cuban rhythms, funk and even EDM structures and house music. They have racked up millions of views of their amazing live videos on YouTube. Beyonce enlisted the band to perform on the songs ‘Daddy Lessons’ and ‘Formation’ from her tour de force Lemonade which was nominated for the Grammy for Album of the Year. In 2016 the band performed with Beyonce and The Dixie Chicks at the internationally-broadcast CMA Awards. Too Many Zooz even performed in a Google Pixel 2 commercial. The rise of Too Many Zooz continues! Their energy shall astonish you! Check out where they actually started…

5) The String Cheese Incident

Of course we must mention The Cheeeeeese! Originating in the San Juan mountain range of the Colorado Rockies, STI is truly mountain music.  Our gracious hosts for this annual event, but that is not the only reason they top the list.  Last years Love Set was one of the most memorable sets of music I have ever witnessed.  The mix of Love songs they entwined was prolific! Can anyone else transition Sublime, Beyonce, Black Eyed Peas and Led Zeppelin together in 12 minutes? FUNK NO!!!

6) STS9

Sound Tribe Sector 9 is one of the pioneers of electro-Jam style of music. Bringing their unique sound and light show to the hanging moss of the amphitheater stage (at least that’s where i want to see them) can only produce an effect on a person that will last a lifetime. STS9 is like tripping in the desert, you never know what direction you’re being pulled  and the lights are constantly changing. They will have 2 sets, one which shall be unplugged, definitely see both…

7) Manic Focus

Manic was at Hulaween 2017 and put  on one of the best light shows I have ever seen!!! They are so different every time they play, kinda like Pearl Jam. They bring their funky musical experience from the windy city. Hula is a journey into magical sights and sound, let Manic Focus be your guide. Check out this marvelous remix of a classic…

8) Gramatik

Gramatik is on a creative super mission with no end in site. Releasing a new album every year while touring worldwide is no easy feat, but that’s just what he does. He just released a 6 song EP, RE:Coil Pt 1 and you ask what’s next? How about his own cryptocurrency, GRMTK. What comes after you create your own currency?!  Not sure the answer but excited to watch and see…

Whatever you end up seeing at Hulaween 2018 is always  a treat. Feel free to wander around to discover new music as well. Enjoy Hulaween 2018!!!
