Dine In Style All Summer at STK Orlando at Disney Springs

STK Orlando

STK has been designated as one of the most popular hotspots in the country for many years running now, so it should come as no surprise that the location at Disney Springs, which opened in 2016, has continued on in the tradition of classy dining with a nightclub vibe. With a dining room that wouldn’t be out of place in a museum, a gorgeous rooftop area, and even a Sunday brunch DJ, the dining experience at STK Orlando is one of a kind.

We decided to hit up STK Orlando for a Sunday brunch (because, brunch). Upon arrival, after being ushered into the beautiful dining room, we were told it was “Total Request Live” – you heard that right. Slips of paper are handed out to fill in your name, where you’re from, and your song choice. Bring them up to the Brunch DJ and enjoy! This was a really unique and fun aspect. The music selections were lively throwbacks, bringing a really fun mood to the crowd.

For cocktails, my guest chose STK Orlando’s spin on the classic Mimosa: this version had traces of apple and melon to complement the orange. My person favorite was the Frosé (and after about 6 of them, still my favorite) – local raspberry sorbet mixed with rosé; in no way could that combination ever be wrong.

STK Orlando Brunch Starters

Clockwise from left: Hangover Ceviché, Avocado Toast, Lemon-Ricotta Pancakes

To start out, we decided on the Hangover Ceviché (shrimp, mussels, crab, octopus, jalapeños, house-made clamato) – perfect ceviche. Light, tasty, and good textures all around. The Avocado Toast, currently in the height of its popularity, was excellent – poached eggs made for a great topping. The Lemon-Ricotta Pancakes were a last minute addition, but not regrettable. The ricotta offset any sweetness, adding a really fun blend of flavors.

STK Orlando Entrees & Desserts

Clockwise from top left: Cinnamon Monkey Bread & Stuffed Donuts, Mac & Cheese, Zellwood Triple Sweet Corn Pudding, 6 oz. Filet Medallion

Somehow we saved room for more after that starting trio, and good thing, as one doesn’t dine at STK without eating steak! We both chose the 6 oz. Filet Medallion in order to squeeze in more sides, though I can’t wait to try the different steaks STK Orlando has to offer. I had my filet served with a peppercorn crust and a side of the “Stk Bold” sauce – ordered medium, served perfectly medium. On the side, we split the highly recommended Mac & Cheese and Zellwood Triple Sweet Corn Pudding. If I didn’t eat meat, I would have been perfectly in heaven with just these tasty sides. For dessert – though we didn’t make much headway – we were presented with the Cinnamon Monkey Bread and Chocolate and Sweet Caramel Corn Donuts. I may have to start with dessert next time.

After we finished eating and drinking, we were lucky enough to make a quick visit upstairs to check out the rooftop area and private event space. The rooftop is more reminiscent of New York City than Disney Springs, which really showcases how much the area has grown.
