South Beach Wine & Food Festival’s Wine Spectator Trade Day

The Wine Spectator Trade Day event was a phenomenal way to experience the grandeur of the South Beach Wine & Food Festival (SOBEWFF). They do not sell tickets to this event, because it is meant for people in the liquor business. If you ruffle enough of your friend’s feathers or start befriending bartenders now, then you could probably score one for next year’s sensational event. Wine Spectator Trade Day took place in the Grand Tasting Village, where there was a plethora of gourmet food, luscious libations and of course, take home swag.

There were so many terrific booths, but three really caught my eye and mouth at the Wine Spectator Trade Day. The first was VEEV Spirit, a superior alternative to vodka that is all natural and infused with nutritious acai berries. It also has a tantalizing slogan: #CheatonVodka. If you are going to cheat on anything, I would recommend that it be on your vodka. I cheated on it with a Revive Lemonade (Veev Spirit, Ginger, Lemon Juice, Agave , Coconut Water & Candied Ginger) and loved every naughty second of it.

The second was govino cups. These shatterproof wine and beer “glasses” are perfect for my clumsy hands and the Shedonist loooves them.

The third was the banging Chicken, Slaw & Sriracha Baguettes made by the kids from FIU’s Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management. I had more than a full baguette of those tasty subs all by myself and I still want more.
