Skylight 360 Brings Western Mixology and Club Scene to Vietnam

The club scene in Vietnam is an orgy of sensory overload that can be a bit daunting for westerners. Their mixology also is sometimes stuck in the 1980’s. Luckily Skylight 360 has emerged at the Skydeck & Rooftop Beach Club in Nha Trang, Vietnam to usher Vietnam into the 21st century. This short video will truly let you understand how incredible this spot is.

Located on the top floor of BEST WESTERN PREMIER Havana Nha Trang Hotel, Skylight’s 21,500-square-foot space brings many firsts to Vietnam, including the first 360-degree outdoor Skydeck with unrivaled views of the bay, city, and mountain regions, a glass skywalk on the 43rd floor where visitors can see down to the ground level, and a rooftop nightclub featuring handcrafted specialty cocktails, ice-cold draught beers served at zero degrees as well as international Pan-Asian cuisine.

“We’re introducing a lot of new things, but everything is inspired by the local culture. Skylight isn’t just an L.A. nightclub set in Nha Trang,” said Cyrus Batchan, STW Co-founder and General Manager at Skylight. “Take our craft cocktails, for example. We’re using local ingredients and flavors to create drinks that enhance the existing cocktail culture in Vietnam.”

I had a chance to check out Skylight 360 and was impressed. This is a Western style club with superb speakers and soundtracks. The 360 view of the sea, mountains and city of Nha Trang is extraordinary, as well as the exquisite view while you are at the urinal. There is a pool, roof deck, lots of tasty small bite options and lovely drink options. I watched the glorious sun descend under a mountain range while sipping a Strawberry Margarita with house cured strawberry tequila that was sweet and smooth with a whole juicy strawberry plucked stem and all.

Favorites from the menu include their Homemade Chips, Sesame Prawn and Grilled pork lollipops.

I went on a Monday and the place was packed with locals and foreigners popping bottles, dancing and drinking like it was still the weekend. They sell these huge sweet punch bowls with heir bottles that the Asians gobble down and are worth checking out if you like it sweet.
