Shore Club Chicago – Kick off Your Shoes and Drink Champagne!

The #foodwithaview hashtag was milked for everything it was worth, over the last couple weekends, thanks to the grand opening of Shore Club Chicago on North Avenue Beach. The timing could not have been more perfect: summer weather is at peak perfectness, and The Windy City recently held its Air and Water Show, where beach goers got a prime view of the Blue Angels.
My fabulous friend and I were invited to the grand opening for some socializing, nibbles, and bubbly libations, and we could not have had more fun. Shore Club Chicago is an event and hangout space that features three main areas: and indoor restaurant and bar, a patio space, and The Oasis. The restaurant was an open concept that was covered from floor to ceiling in trendy décor. If Instagram could design a space, it would look like this. Reservations are highly encouraged, and brunch is served on Sundays with pre-bought tickets. The menu is Mediterranean-inspired fare, and it’s full of fresh veggies and cheeses, with plenty of seafood to pick from. Lobster roll, anyone?
The patio is an outdoor, gated space, and it’s the ideal area for lounging an afternoon away with a few drinks and chit chat. This is the area where patrons of the public can stroll in for a mid-day rest from a crowded beach and enjoy a beer with their lunch. No reservations are needed for the patio.
The Oasis is, without a doubt, the best part of Shore Club Chicago. This is where you can kick off your sandals, dig your feet into the cool sand, and still enjoy some privacy. Spend the day sipping cocktails and people watching on the comfy couches, or snooze away an afternoon in one of the cabanas. The Oasis requires guests to reserve spaces, since it’s perfect for group get-togethers. Packages include an assorted menu, bottle service, or coolers available right at your feet.
Relaxation with gorgeous city views is key at Shore Club Chicago. It’s definitely a must-see space, next time you’re on the beach. Feel like one of the elite, and book a table for your summer date night. Now, repeat after me: ahh!
Shore Club Chicago is open Monday through Friday, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Brunch is served Sundays until 2 p.m.
