Salsa Fiesta Miami Lakes Opens Today

Salsa Fiesta, South Florida’s homegrown Mexican fast-casual concept, expands with a sixth location in Miami Lakes – now open to the public. Established in Caracas, Venezuela in 2003 by Cesar Olivo, Adriana Perez Benatar and Samuel Perez Benatar, the family-owned concept is located at 6769 Main Street adjacent to the Main Street Shopping Center.

New to the concept, the Miami Lakes location offers tableside service – a first for the South Florida eatery. During dinner serviceMonday through Friday after 5 p.m. and all day on Saturday and Sunday – guests are able to enjoy tableside service; as opposed to ordering at the counter in keeping with traditional fast-casual dining.

“We’ve been playing with the idea of tableside service for some time and believe that our new location was the perfect place to introduce it,” says Olivo, Salsa Fiesta CEO and Co-Founder. “Our guests’ comfort and enjoyment are our foremost concern, and we are excited to offer the additional element of tableside service, which provides a more upscale experience at no extra cost and still stays true to the quality and price point they’ve come to know and love. This is a first for Salsa Fiesta as well as for the fast-casual industry here in South Florida.”

Counter service continues to be available during weekday lunch. After 5 pm on weekdays and all day on the weekends, Salsa Fiesta transforms into a tableside dining destination perfect for friends and family to gather in the evenings as they switch on ‘chillax’ mode and enjoy Salsa Fiesta’s signature fare without having to leave their table. Meals turn interactive with innovations such as tableside guacamole – also new to Salsa Fiesta.

Staying true to Salsa Fiesta’s vision to drive the fast-casual Mexican restaurant experience to the top tier in quality, service and taste, the Miami Lakes menu features dishes for any Mexican food lover’s palate, including Burritos & Bowls ($8.99), Tostadas ($7.49) and Enchiladas ($9.49). Like its sister restaurants, Miami Lakes also offers authentic Mexican sandwiches including Pepito ($9.99) – steak, chipotle beans, poblano rajas, Chihuahua cheese, chimichurri and arugula; and Veracruz ($9.99) – fish, chipotle beans, mango, cabbage, pickled onions, cilantro cream and arugula. A concept-wide belief, every Salsa Fiesta location resembles those of a fine dining serving restaurant, with the same quality but with the convenience of a fast-casual restaurant. Guests can find the finest cuts of meats, fresh vegetables and daily housemade salsas in every bite. Diners can also wash down their bites with frozen margaritas, red and white wine and aguas frescas in horchata, tamarindo and Jamaica flavors.

Salsa Fiesta Miami Lakes features a retro vibe and décor unlike the urban design found in its sister locations. Local Wynwood artist Greg Gayle hand painted the store’s walls, injecting an authentic Mexican feel into the 2,400 square-foot space. The 100-seat restaurant, offering ample indoor and outdoor seating, is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, Sunday Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Friday and Saturday 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m..
