Poseidon Greek Restaurant Review

Poseidon Greek Restaurant Review

Poseidon Greek Restaurant tries to bring you the most authentic Greek food in all of Miami. Located right in the heart of South Beach on Washington Avenue, this Greek restaurant and lounge delivers a menu of real ingredients and seasonings shipped in from Greece and its Islands. The fish is imported daily and their oil is made from the owner’s own Kalamata olive groves in Greece. Traditional dishes beautifully match their modern décor in this cozy spot. See for yourself in our Poseidon Greek Restaurant Review video.

Start with the Greek Spread & Pita Platter, which comes with an assortment of awesome Greek spreads that includes hummus and a stellar spicy feta (not too spicy) with warm oil glazed pita bread.

The Whole Fish is a special branzino topped with a caper sauce and served with a side of chorta (Cretan traditional salads made with cooked leaf vegetables). The fish is imported daily from the Aegean Sea and it is filleted right at your table.

Sometimes an epic dessert is so simple. This Bougatsa is a traditional Greek dish that is dessert umami! Crispy phyllo dough perfectly coupled with a warm supple Mastika custard inside. The sugar, cinnamon and chocolate it’s topped with adds just the right amount of sweet swirl to the perfectly crafted confection. It’s worth visiting Poseidon just for this dessert paired with its outstanding original Greek coffee, which we believe to be one of the most beautiful renditions of coffee in the world.
