Pincho Factory Review – Burger Revolutionaries

Pincho Factory – Celebrating 5 years with 5 Burgers from 5 Chefs

There are few people who can claim the title of revolutionaries in the world of food, but Nedal Ahmad, Otto Othman & Nazir Ahmad of Pincho Factory are legit Burger Revolutionaries! These guys have taken the pedestrian burger and lathered it with an insane dose of scrumptious creativity. They opened the first Pinch Factory 5 years ago on a shoestring budget in Miami and now have 13 stores! These guys will be all across the country within the next 5 years. We are coming for you In & Out! The love, devotion, quality, ingenuity and taste of their burgers are sensational.

It all started with the original Pincho Burger – 100% Humanely raised, antibiotic/hormone free burgers cuddled between a brioche bun. The Pincho has cheese, potato sticks and this secret pink sauce that is extraordinary. It is like a thousand dressing on rampant steroids. Order the Cajun Fries, topped with grilled onions, cajun seasoning (we thought it was adobo) and douse as much of it on as you can handle.

2-The Pincho Burger - Pincho Factory

The burger that really got the creative grill juices rolling was the Toston Burger – this masterpiece burger is nestled between 2 golden fried plantains, which are the salty ones, (the sweet ones are called maduros.) This one comes with Jack Cheese and a banging cilantro sauce. You can put chicken in it instead and it is damn good. It was a remarkable concoction that warrants the utmost reverence for its taste and originality. An Absolute Must Try when you go.

The boys wanted to give your sweet tooth some burger love too, so during brunch you can get the Pastelito Burger juicy chuck, brisket and short rib patty, topped with white cheese and cuddled between 2 guava pastelitos. Yes the bun is a Cuban sweet pastry! I have not had this one yet, but it is on my Must Try list!

Thier latest brilliant concoction was the Winner of the 2015 SOBEWFF Food Network Burger Bash in South Beach. I was there and I ate almost every burger and these guys were by far the Best! The Croquetesa – chuck, brisket and short rib croqueta patty topped with jack cheese, mustard, mayo and pickles. When you bite into the perfect fry an explosion of creaminess and enchanting flavor immerses your palate. This baby is only available twice a year (March & September I believe) so definitely go get it when you can.

In celebration of their 5 years Pincho Factory is doing a 5 Years, 5 Days, 5 Chefs promotion. Miami’s hottest chefs and created five unique burgers, with a different chef’s creation highlighted at both Pincho locations, one a day for five days Monday, November 9 – Friday, November 13, 2015.

The chefs are Giorgio Rapicavoli (Eating House, Glass & Vine), Jose Mendin (Pubbelly Group), Aaron Brooks (EDGE Steak + Bar), Phil Bryant (Local Craft Food & Drink) and Sef Gonzalez (Miami’s own Burger Beast).

  • 11/9: Burger Beast’s Cousin Otto Burger, an ode to Pincho Factory co-owner Otto Othman, will feature Pincho Factory’s own signature burger patty, sweet chili sauce, jalapeños, bacon, pepper jack cheese (optional) on a brioche roll with Cajun fries.
  • 11/10:  The Local’s Phil Bryant’s El Camino – burger patty, sweet potato tots, Ropa Vieja, Swiss cheese and Mojo ketchup.
  • 11/11:  Jose Mendin’s Le Pincho Royale comes complete with foie gras & shortrib pincho, gruyere cheese and black truffle jus.
  • 11/12:  Giorgio Rapicavoli’s Calle Ocho Burger will feature Angus beef, fried onion, potato, sweet plantains, smoked cream cheese, guava ketchup and mojo.
  • 11/13:  EDGE Steak + Bar’s Aaron Brooks will celebrate with an Aussie lamb burger.

The official anniversary of Pincho Factory’s opening is Friday, November 6.  On that day, at both locations, all patrons can enjoy a complimentary beer with any food purchase (one beer per customer per order).

Pincho factory is fresh, deelish, creative and comforting. They also have some great craft beers both in bottle and on tap as well as Miami Heat game specials. We skipped the pinchos, (chicken, steak and shrimp skewers that you can order ala carte or in a wrap, salad or rice bowl) in favor of fat ass burgers, but have heard rave review about those as well. Thank you Pincho Factory for taking burgers to the next level.
