Oh My Gosh Brigadeiros Celebrates One Year of Brazilian Sweets in Miami

Oh My Gosh!!! Brigadeiros is bringing a sweet taste of Brazil to Coral Gables in Miami, Florida. What is a Brigadeiro, you ask? Well, a Brigadeiro or Brigadier is a typical Brazilian sweet, created in the 1940s. As the first Brigaderia in Miami, they opened in March of 2015 and offer over twenty different flavors of this most popular Brazilian treat. They also feature teas, coffees, and soon they will feature cakes and ice cream.

The shop itself is beautiful and absolutely adorable. With one week left until I graduate from the University of Miami, I was lucky enough to be able to share this chocolate experience with my younger brother. We sat at one of the cute pink tables decorated with dessert accessories.

The first thing we had the delight of tasting was the signature Coffee rimmed with Chocolate. It is heavenly. Dusted with a light sprinkling of cinnamon, the chocolate and coffee combination just melts in your mouth.

The Brigadeiros are beautifully designed, so they are as tasty for the eyes as the taste buds. The signature flavor, Oh My Gosh Brigadeiros, is a chocolate crunch bite filled with gooey caramel.

Another favorite is the Caramel Dulce de Leche Crunch, which is just as sweet as it sounds.

My brother’s favorite flavor, the Cookies and Cream Brigadeiro, is a twist on an American favorite. This Brigadeiro is covered in cookie crumbles and filled with a creamy center.

Oh My Gosh!!! Brigadeiros packages their treats beautifully, too. So they are perfect for any party or gift.
