How about sliding into 2015 with a wonderful meal? Surprisingly there are a plethora of “affordable” prix fixe options for under $100 as well as some very expensive “Baller options”. 15th & Vine Kitchen and Bar

Ring in the New Year at 15th & Vine Kitchen and Bar. Viceroy Miami’s signature restaurant features two dinner seatings, Moet champagne lounge on the terrace, live music by La Linea and an intimate menu with small plates designed to be shared. Highlights of the menu include Applewood Smoked Pork Belly served over cherry chestnut bread pudding and drizzled in a sage, caramelized white chocolate; Burrata Salad decked with roasted baby beets, hazelnut and tarragon; Saffron Poached Halibut paired with crab rice, tomato and leek sofrito; and Rib-eye with truffle potato puree, braised cipollini onion, mushroom relish, bone marrow crust and red wine jus. Dinner concludes with a decadent Guanaja Chocolate Ganache with a peanut butter crumble and brandy cherry, in addition to a Passion Fruit Parfait infused with coconut meringue and Thai Basil. Toro Toro

Enjoy a gastronomic experience by Executive Chef Eric Do with an array of pan latin dishes and an unlimited rodizio selection of carved meats in a fun and energetic environment. The cost is $225 a person. There is also a hidden table in the heart of the Toro Toro kitchen that seats 14 people and is $500 per person. A toast at Midnight will take place on the 5th floor rooftop to view the fireworks.

With a Tropicana 1950’s theme, Seasalt and Pepper‘s New Year’s Eve dinner will arguably be the most opulent and exclusive evening this holiday season.  At $750 per person, the evening will feature an Amuse Bouche of Kusshi Oysters followed by a decadent four- course dinner. Florida Cookery

Toast the New Year at The James Royal Palm’s Florida Cookery with a delicious three course pre-fixed menu, prepared by Executive Chef Billy Boyle, overlooking the hotel’s pools by the beach. Delight in your choice of delicious appetizers including Ahi Tuna and Scallop Carpaccio, and Butternut Squash Ravioli. The main courses feature a Roasted Local Cobia, with chili spiced pumpkin puree, pickled winter vegetables, and forbidden rice, and a Petite Filet and Lobster Surf n’ Turf, with wild mushrooms, collard greens, and black eyed peas. IL MULINO NY SOBE

Il Mulino New York South Beach announces its 2015 New Year’s Eve dinner party, which will serve as a relaxed evening for those looking to indulge in a more sophisticated atmosphere. South of Fifth’s renowned Italian restaurant will offer an à la carte menu throughout the day before 4 p.m., and then will host two seatings that evening with a four-course prix fixe menu. At 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., guests can begin their meal with prix fixe options such as Prosciutto a Melone or Ravioli ai Porcini with champagne truffle cream sauce. The second course includes a choice of a traditional Caesar Salad or Rucola with baby arugula topped with olive oil, fresh lemon and shaved aged parmesan cheese. Shooters Waterfront, Fort Lauderdale’s newly renovated waterfront dining destination, is celebrating New Year’s Eve with a special holiday dinner. In addition to their regular menu, the restaurant will be offering a prix fixe dinner for $100++ per guest. To start their meal, diners can choose from either a Shooters Salad or a Caesar Salad. Appetizer options include Peruvian Ceviche, Golden Calamari, Guava Glazed Chicken Wings, Creamy Spinach & Artichoke Dip and Smoked Fish Dip. Ring in the New Year with a variety of dining options at the Fontainebleau’s newest restaurant with four and five-course menu offerings at StripSteak. To begin, diners will feast on Smoked Salmon Custard with lemon crème fraîche and Petrossian caviar, followed by Roasted Baby Beets with dried cherries, hazelnuts, goat cheese and walnut vinaigrette followed by Seared Hudson Valley Foie Gras with cured foie gras macaron, quince jam and toasted pistachio. Fontainebleau’s modern Chinese restaurant is offering several family style options for diners this New Year’s Eve. To begin, guests will enjoy several sharing plates that will include Peking duck with foie gras and Osetra caviar, steamed sea urchin shrimp dumplings and steamed crystal Maine lobster dumplings. The featured appetizer will be Alaskan Crab Meat with black truffle and micro green salad. For the main course, diners will enjoy Stir-Fried Bahamian Lobster in X.O. sauce, Baked Chilean Sea bass with wild mushrooms, Wok-Fried Australian Waygu Beef with black pepper sauce, and Fried Rice with Braised Scallops for the table. Dessert will feature Chamomile Soup with Blood Orange tapioca and champagne foam. Scott Conant’s AAA Four Diamond award winning restaurant will offer scrumptious selections for New Year’s Eve diners. Four and five-course prix-fixe menus will offer an amuse bouche of Yellowtail Duo with olio di zenzero and pickled red onion; a ‘primi piatti’ selection will include Chestnut Soup with root vegetable fricasée followed by ‘paste’ selections served family style such as the Creamy Polenta served with fricassee of truffled mushrooms and Ricotta and Truffle Cappelletti accompanied by black trumpet mushrooms and parmesan cheese brodo. “Piatti’ offerings will include a choice of Grilled Dover Sole complimented by oyster mushrooms, herb gnocchi and a tomato and artichoke emulsion; or 21 Day Dry Aged New York Strip with roasted porcini mushrooms, potato galette and a red wine and truffle jus. End the night on a sweet note with White Chocolate Panna Cotta topped with candied pistachio and blood orange and pistachio gelato; and Olive Oil Torta with compressed pear and a roasted walnut and thyme gelato, both for the table. This year, Vida will be hosting an expansive New Year’s Eve buffet with offerings for $65 per person from 5 p.m. to close. The feast will have dozens of options offered at various stations including a Rotisserie Station, Live- Action Station, Sautée Station, Woodstone Oven, Sushi and Raw Bar as well as Tapas, Charcuterie and Cheese Stations. Highlights will include Suckling Pig with natural jus; Pan Seared Snapper with tri-color carrots and rum glaze; Lobster Tails and Snow Crab Legs; Specialty Sushi Rolls and a plethora of desserts.

Meat Market

Meat Market, South Beach’s hot, bustling steakhouse, is celebrating New Year’s Eve with a special four course prix-fixe dinner menu and live DJ entertainment.  Diners will kick off the night with a chilled asparagus and truffle salad with king crab confit, and poached egg confetti with truffle cream and peas tendrils, followed by a choice of appetizers from an array of options including Meat Market signatures: octopus and shrimp ceviche with Peruvian corn, Greek olives, tomato and aji Amarillo; Asian BBQ lamb ribs with hoisin BBQ sauce, papaya slaw, peanuts and cilantro; foie gras torchon with wild cherry gastric, quince jelly, anise, pistachios and pumpernickel toast; or white truffle diced angus beef tenderloin tartare and tobiko caviar with capers and red onions. The Dutch will ring in 2015 with a New Year’s Eve five-course prix-fixe menu featuring inspired dishes with influences from across the country. The meal will begin with a selection of canapés followed by a choice of appetizer Foie Gras and Quail Terrine with homemade brioche, Granny Smith apples and pickled mustard seeds; or Florida Stone Crab Claws with Dijon aioli and fresh lemon. Next, diners will delight in White Truffle Risotto with parmesan and fresh shaved truffles. Entrée options include Beef Wellington – crispy puff pastry-wrapped filet mignon with pommes purée, roasted chanterelles and Bordelaise sauce; or Seafood Curry – lobster, snapper, shrimp and mussels in a coconut curry sauce with Thai herbs and peanuts. Quattro Gastronomia Italiana will offer two á la carte seatings in addition to the restaurant’s nightly dinner menu this New Year’s Eve. To start the evening, diners can indulge in antipasti options of Carpaccio di Polipo e Agrumi ($20) – octopus carpaccio with citrus salad; and Polpette Tartufate ($25) – oven roasted veal meatball with truffle Parmesan sauce. Dolce Italian at the Gale South Beach is offering two special Gale New Year’s Eve prix fixe menus, beginning with a first seating from 6PM – 8PM. Priced at $85 (excluding tax and gratuity), first course options include Grilled Octopus with chickpeas, faro and a pistachio vinaigrette; Celery Soup with mortadella, a marsala reduction and black truffles; or Dolce Meatballs with creamy polenta & Parmigiano. A second seating from 9:30PM – midnight will be priced at $165 per person (excluding tax and gratuity) and will begin with first course options of Tuna Tartare with cucumber, sweet corn, avocado, pickled grapes and red radish; Dolce Meatballs with creamy polenta and Parmigiano; Grilled Octopus with chickpeas, farro and a pistachio vinaigrette; or a Burrata Duo complete with heirloom tomatoes and pesto, artichokes and pistachio.  For the second course, guests can select from Seafood Risotto complete with lobster, shrimp, calamari, octopus and scallops; Ravioli Do Zucca with butternut squash in an Amaretto and brown butter sauce; or Gnocchi with lamb ragu. Third course continues with Chilean sea bass with leeks, butternut squash and clams guazzetto; or Grilled Rib Eye with roasted vegetables and black truffle; while dessert features a Vanilla Cream Meringue layer cake with Chantilly cream to end the year on a sweet note.

Those who crave endless options can opt for Dolce Italian’s New Year’s Eve Buffet. Priced at $150 per person and available from 9PM until 1AM, the feast takes place on the beautiful exclusive rooftop at the Gale South Beach, complete with DJ. Antipasti dishes feature a selection of Italian meats and cheeses, Beef Carpaccio, Tuna Tartare, and Vitello Tonato. Primi options consist of Baked Tagliolini veal ragu and Spaghetti Al Pomodoro with San Marzano tomatoes, basil and Parmigiano; while secondi highlights are Braised Short Ribs and Chilean Sea Bass. Priced at $110 per person (excluding tax and gratuity), the festivities will begin with Wianno Oysters with caviar and cucumber, followed by first course options of Smoked Duck Breast with kale, Pink Mountain apple, blue cheese, pecans and poppy seed vinaigrette; or Sashimi of Kona Kampachi with pickled mushrooms and yuzu. Next, diners can indulge in either the Sweet Corn Risotto with lobster and Pecorino; or Ricotta and Truffle Agnolotti with pea tendrils, charred tomato and aged balsamic. 3030 Ocean’s third course options will feature a choice of a New York Strip Steak with smoked potato purée and red wine shallot; or Sautéed Bronzini with fregola, pickled eggplant and yogurt sauce. Chef Michael Shikany has created a 10-course champagne and caviar menu that will be available for three seatings; 6:30, 8:30 and 10:30 p.m. Diners can experience the luxurious dinner for $225 and $350 with Louis Roederer champagne pairings. The restaurant will also be offering the a la carte menu, music by DJ Max Cassinelli, and a champagne toast at midnight.

L’echon Brasserie

Chef Jose Mendin and Chef Josh Elliott are taking us back to the 50’s with a black and white French theme and music. Guests will enjoy tableside champagne cart service and a specially designed caviar three-course menu that will be available for two seatings; 7:00 p.m. ($65) and 9:30 p.m. ($85), with a $45 optional wine pairing. The restaurant will also be offering the a la carte menu and a champagne toast at midnight.

Chef Santiago Gomez has created a five-course prix-fixe menu to get diners excited for 2015 and the restaurant will feature an ultra-premium open bar for $750.
