NaiYaRa Miami Spice Review – Tasty Thai

NaiYaRa Miami Spice Review – Tasty Thai

Tis the most wonderful time of the year for Miami foodies, cuz it is Miami Spice! For the entire months of August and September the best restaurants in South Florida allow diners to come in and enjoy 3 course meals for $23 – $39. We had the chance to check out the new South Beach Thai gem NaiYaRa in Miami Beach. There is a cool vibe radiating from the crowd dining at Sunset Harbour neighborhood’s latest hot spot.

Lucky Chopsticks Best Bites – Asian Night Market at SoBeWFF - Miami - chef bee

The chef and co-owner is Piyarat Potha Arreeratn, or Chef Bee, has he is known to his fans from his stint at Khong River House and his own North Miami restaurant, Oishi Thai. Born in a small town in Northern Thailand to farmers, Chef Bee consciously buys his produce fresh from a local Thai farm in Homestead.

A lovely Brutish server named Tanya made the night more refined and enjoyable with her smile and cute remarks. Definitely request her section if you want to role play Downtown Abbey or want a free side of laughs served along your Asian cuisine.

The BEEF JERKY | NEAU DADE DEAW | coriander, nahm jim jao sauce, burmese sticky rice was delightful. It was slightly succulent with an interesting salty oyster dipping sauce. The house made beef jerky is roasted in the oven for a new take on classic jerky.

The NAIYARA ROLL | salmon belly, cucumber, avocado, scallion, truffle oil, topped with salmon belly ‘brûlée’ was my favorite dish of the night. Rarely do I eat sushi that I do not need a sauce with it, but this beauty was perfect on its own. Quite succulent for sushi and very well lubricated. A well balanced flavor profile not overpowered by the truffle oil.

PAD SEE-EEW | chow fun noodle, shrimp, bok choi, garlic, sweet soy  was a nice upgrade to this typical dish. This version was sweet with soft noodles and juicy shrimp.

For dessert go with the MILK CHOCOLATE POTS DE CRÈME | crème chantilly, ginger, chocolate puffed rice. A thick suave milk chocolate mousse in a bath tub. Not too sweet and graced with homemade heavenly chocolate Rice Krispy treats that were ridiculously fresh and crispy. Was tempted to ask for a bowl of these on their own.
