Summer has arrived and Miami restaurants are feeling the heat with over 20 closings in the past couple months! A handful of Miami restaurants are offering some great deals to lure customers in before Miami Spice starts. Bagatelle Miami (full review) is injecting a little fun into hump day as they introduce Bacchanal Wednesdays. The Mid-week summer celebration will feature 50% off the entire wine and Champagne list with no corkage fee. That means outside wines are welcome at no cost!
Lure Fishbar is introducing a three-course summer pre-fixe menu for $50 per person (excluding tax and gratuity) throughout the month of July. Guests can enjoy a reasonably priced three-course dinner beginning with a choice of raw bar platter (dressed oysters, jumbo shrimp and clams); calamari with smoked chili glaze; a chop salad with tangy balsamic dressing; salmon tartare with avocado, ponzu and aji amarillo; or crab cakes. Savory entrees include Lure’s award-winning Bash Style Burger; shrimp risotto with uni crème; Nori crusted tuna served with Chinese broccoli and Jasmine rice; herb roasted chicken with Greek-style oven potatoes, baby artichokes and crispy spinach; and bronzini with cauliflower puree and caramelized fennel. The perfect ending to any meal at Lure, diners will have a choice of one of the restaurant’s popular desserts made in-house – Key lime pie with roasted white chocolate; milk n’ cookies or chocolate peanut butter ice cream sandwich; or two scoops of sorbet (mango-lime, Meyers lemon or passion fruit).
Thompson Miami Beach is launching “Social Hour” at Seagrape Lounge, Mondays through Fridays from 5-7PM. Guests can sip expertly crafted cocktails priced at $7, a selection of local brews for $5, or a glass of wine for $7, while indulging in the lounge’s modern retro setting. The Dutch at W South Beach has just introduced Oysters & Bubbles. Available 7 days a week from 6:30 – 7:30PM oysters and champagnes by-the-glass are half-off. Reservations are suggested but walk-ins welcome.
