Miami Heat Brings Gourmet Food to the Arena

The Miami Heat are off to a blistering start even after “thou who shall not be named” deserted us. While the Heat may not have vastly improved their roster, the food at the American Airlines Arena has gone through a serious upgrade. This season’s offerings reflect an unparalleled variety of culinary choices in both concessions and premium areas, featuring a further expansion of our successful Chef Partner program, regional twists on fan favorites, and the vision of our new Executive Chef, Rufino Rengifo. Whether you are a floor seat holder or up in the nosebleeds, there is tasty food for all.

Fan favorites such as the Prime Burger, creatively topped hot dogs and fresh hand-breaded crispy chicken fingers to dishes that satisfy more sophisticated palettes like Pinchos served over Saffron Rice, grilled sausages and Brisket Cheese Steak from Pride and Joy are just a few of this season’s new options

  • Southern Style Chicken and Waffles: Hand-battered chicken tenders fried to a golden brown served with a fresh-made waffle, Nueske’s Bacon Maple Syrup and Siracha-Ranch slaw.

  • Chicken Ciao: Brand new concept in our concessions offering Fresh Buttermilk Chicken Tenders and the new signature menu item of 2014, the Fiery Fresh Chicken Tender sandwich

  • Blue Moon Bar: The only restaurant with sit down capabilities on the upper level. Enjoy our Miami Mofongo, smashed plantain served with Jicama Slaw and the option of Beef, Mojo Chicken or Mojo Pork. Another fan favorite is Big Three Champ sliders with Mango Slaw and house made chips with pulled beef, chicken and Pork.

  • Sushi Maki: In sections 123 and 326 serving fresh sushi and lo mein noodles made to order
  • Gaby’s Farm Ice Cream: Featured in premium areas, the local producer grows its own produce to create the freshest, most flavorful ice creams and sorbets
  • SuViche: Premium areas will be delighted by the new sushi partner, serving creative rolls, ceviches and more
