Summer is in full swing! The weather is perfect, which isn’t a moment too soon for Chicago’s annual Lollapalooza music festival! This July, Lollapalooza is celebrating its 25th year. In honor of the mile marker, the festival is being held over four days, instead of three. We applaud a 33% increase in music, especially when the lineup is insanely stacked like this one! Tickets are available by clicking here.

Beginning Thursday, July 28th, festival goers will experience over 170 performances from some of the most talented and popular bands playing now. Bands including Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lana Del Ray, Ellie Goulding, Major Lazer, The 1975, Die Antwood, Foals, Mac Miller, Silversun Pickups, Alessia Cara and Third Eye Blind, will be performing; and that’s only a small handful of the stars that will be gracing the stages. The list of bands is enormous in terms of talent and capacity!

Lollapalooza 2016 Lineup

Of course, there will be some other things besides music to keep you entertained through the weekend, like, “ahem”, food! Lollapalooza’s Chow Town will be a parade of some of the best eating spots Chicago can offer including: Billy Goat Tavern and Grill, Dark Matter Coffee, Harold’s Chicken, Lou Malnati’s, MAD Social, Pork and Mindy’s, and Wow Bao, to name a few. If none of those names made your mouth water, you need to talk with a Chicagoan, ASAP.

Other festivities will include tons of booths, bodegas, an art market, and beer tents!
