Express Lunch at La Mar

The new La Mar by Gastón Acurio at Mandarin Oriental, Miami introduces the Express Lunch at La Mar, where you can grab lunch in less than 45 minutes. Guests have the opportunity to design a lunch trio followed by a dessert for only $25, or $32 with a paired glass of red or white wine.

A true representation of the innovative cuisine at La Mar, the special lunch menu is available Monday through Friday from 11:00am to 3:30pm and offers diners the chance to enjoy a sampling of three distinctive dishes plus dessert. A choice of flavorful and fresh cebiche starts the menu with “Cebiche Mixto” created with yellowtail snapper, octopus, shrimp and rocoto leche de tigre, or “Cebiche Chifa” composed of salmon, peanuts, ginger, wonton strips, cilantro, pickled vegetables and sesame leche de tigre.

Guests can then choose from the “Causa Salad” with beets, artichokes, Peruvian asparagus, piquillo peppers and avocado over a yellow potato causa or the “Chicken Anticucho” consisting of grilled free-range chicken, potatoes and Peruvian corn with tomato chalaca and yellow chili ocopa sauce. 

Keeping on pace, the third choice is “Arroz con Mariscos” with aji panca fried rice, mussels, octopus, calamari, clams and criolla onion-garlic sauce or the “Grouper Chorrillana” with grouper, tamarind chorrillana sauce and yuca bacon mash.  A sweet finish of “Chica Morada Sorbet,” a purple corn desert, completes the meal with just a few minutes to spare.
