El Tucán Miami Launches Brand New Show: Thursday Spotlight Sessions
Brickell’s cabaret club, El Tucán Miami, debuted a new concert series, Thursday Spotlight Sessions. Once a month, the spotlight sessions will bring in great Latin entertainers, such as Chino Pons y Grupo Irek, to perform an exclusive and intimate show.
The new show seeks to transport guests, in cocktail attire or formal wear, to the bygone era of 1940s, a time when the spirit of Cuba and African rhythms merged to create a new sound of clave-based beats mixed with Latin jazz harmonies otherwise known as Afro-Cuban music.
El Tucán Miami’s live entertainment show for this Thursday’s Spotlight Session (4/21) is Salsa Meets Disco with Lucy Grau, (General Admission for ladies is complimentary for this show).
Upcoming on Thursday, April 28, El Tucán presents an intimate concert with Latin Soul singer-songwriter, Calma Carmona.
On Thursdays, there is only one live music and entertainment show. Showtime Seating for General Admission ($20) and Cocktail service starts at 7:30PM.
The 8PM reserved Dinner Seating offers a prix fixe menu with a spectacular live show. ($85 pp+; Beverages not included)
Guests enjoying dinner seating will have the table for the duration of the night. All guests are welcome at the bar and standing room to enjoy the show. For dinner or table reservations, call 305-535-0065.
On the weekend, El Tucán Miami has two showtimes on Friday and Saturday. Doors open at 7:30PM for cocktails and the first dinner seating is at 8PM, followed by a second seating at 11PM.
The Late Night Fête continues at 1:30AM, with tropical rhythms fused with a variety of electronic music by local to international DJs, coupled with live percussion.
