Dragonfly Robata Review – Unlimited Izakaya Lunch Sundays

Dragonfly Robata Orlando has launched a bottomless Sunday brunch option for all sushi lovers – Unlimited Izakaya Lunch! The brunch is a nice option for the Restaurant Row hotspot, as bottomless brunches at sushi spots are typically far and few between. Now sushi lovers can join in on the fun! Dragonfly Robata guests can now enjoy bottomless Izakaya favorites on Sunday afternoons with made-to-order, live chef’s stations manned by master sushi chefs preparing all-you-can-eat nigiri, maki, and poké, and (of course), endless adult beverages.

We sampled a bunch of things off the Izakaya menu listed above, and our favorites were easily the “made-to-order” items – sushi & poké. It was so nice to be able to build our own dishes with what we love! We were also fans of the gyoza (who isn’t?) and crispy shrimp specials. The chicken katsudon, with a perfectly poached egg ready to be stirred in, was a classic done right. We really enjoyed the hand roll station as well: lots of options, rolled up right in front of you with yummy sushi rice and thin nori. The salmon was fresh & tender, along with multiple taste whitefish options.
