Dolores But You Can Call Me Lolita, is now open for Brunch from 11am until 4pm on the weekends! Located right off of Merry Brickell Village, Dolores But You Can Call Me Lolita is serving $2.99 mimosas, seriously delicious Serrano Ham Croquettes, and a Cornbread Skillet that you HAVE TO order!

The Mimosa was solid, plenty of bubbles and a nice touch of orange juice but the drink I recommend is the Frozen Sangria! It’s frosty, sweet, and fruity. It’s an excellent way to cool down from the Miami heat.

Serrano Ham Croquettes at Dolores But You Can Call Me Lolita

I was surprised at how enamored I became with the Serrano Ham Croquettes. I’ve had my number of croquettes in the past couple of years, and these croquettes are nothing to suck your teeth at. They have a nice crunchy exterior and an ULTRA mushy interior. The flavors were savory and honestly these croquettes were one of the best things I ate on my Brunch at Dolores But You Can Call Me Lolita.

Fresh Baked Skillet Cornbread at Dolores But You Can Call Me Lolita

Okay, this Corn Bread was AMAZING! One of the best corn breads I’ve ever had. The Fresh Baked Skillet Cornbread has Wisconsin Cheddar, Chives, and Irish Whipped Salted Butter. Get this, at only $2.99 you get a huge chunk of cornbread that can easily be shared by a group of friends. This is a must get for your table! The cornbread comes out with a beautiful presentation in a small skilet, a small ball of butter and a spring of Rosemary shoved directly into the middle of the ball of butter and cornbread. The Cornbread is rich and savory, with influences from the chives and cheese.

Angus Grilled Churrasco at Dolores But You Can Call Me Lolita

The Angus Grilled Churrasco was my favorite main dish for brunch at Brunch at Dolores But You Can Call Me Lolita. The meat was cooked well, tender and full of flavor. The 10 oz churrasco steak was paired with a Patatas Bravas which included an assortment of potatoes and vegetables topped with a red sauce.

The Eggs Benedict Royale was executed well. Butter croissantss are topped with Canadian Bacon, Poached eggs, and Hollandaise Sauce. The Eggs Benedict come with a side of Patatas Bravas.

Croissant Egg Sandwich at Dolores But You Can Call Me Lolita

Dolores’ Croissant Egg Sandwich was another standout brunch menu item. It only got beat out by the churrasco because of my inherent love of steak. Three eggs, cheddar cheese, bacon and ham come sandwiched between a pair of croissants and these too come with a side of Patatas Bravas.
