The Birds are Flying South this Winter for Dirtybird Campout East Coast

St. Cloud, FL  –  February 2-4, 2018

For three years, King of Dirtybird Records and Camp Counselor Claude VonStroke has treated birds of every feather to a wild California weekend full of the quirks and surprises that only DIRTYBIRD is known for. 2018’s Dirtybird Campout East Coast sees him teaming up again with the incredible Do LaB and migrating to Southern lands, turning the Campout into a tropical rager stacked full of underground jams and eclectic riddims from all your favorite DJs in the world.

Dirtybird will land in St. Cloud, Florida bringing with them all of Campout’s signature games, counselors, activities and booty shaking tunes, but with a regional flavor. Dirtybird Campout East Coast will be a twisted mardi-gras, voodoo campout, full of the South’s signature charm and character. With the help of Dirtybird’s Head Counselors, a carefully selected crew of electronic’s finest, and the Dirtiest Super Bowl viewing party you’ve ever seen – never will you be the same again.

Leading the eastward flock in 2018 will be international club icon Tiga, Life and Death label boss DJ Tennis, UK house sensation George Fitzgerald, Keinmusik’s showcase with &Me, Adam Port and Rampa plus legendary house beats from Marshall Jefferson, MK, Claptone, DJ Glen and a Crew Love shakedown with Soul Clap, Wolf+Lamb and  PillowTalk. Man of the moment, Fisher returns to Campout as well and This Ain’t Bristol will throw down with Billy Kenny, Maximono and Bot.

Far more than just house, Roni Size and LTJ Bukem will serve up a rightful lesson in Drum and Bass while beatsmiths Salva, Craze, Just Blaze and Ryan Hemsworth will fuse electronic music and hip-hop. Further genre blending will come from Hessle Audio’s frontrunner Pearson Sound, the versatile bass of Madam X, futuristic tones of Stööki Sound, supreme darkness from EPROM and everything in between from Mija to Bruno Furlan

Throw all that into the mixer with the Dirtybird family, including Claude VonStroke, J.Phlip, Christian Martin, Worthy, Will Clarke and Ardalan and you’ve got a perfect debut of the East Coast’s newest best festival. (And that’s just phase one!)

While this may be its biggest musical offering to date, Campout is arguably defined by its off dance-floor programming. Dirtybird East Coast Campers will be treated to a plethora of nostalgic fun. With more than sixty activities they may find themselves shooting a bullseye at archery, straining sinews during Tug-O-War, Kick Ball or a Sack Race, munching on S’mores, taking center stage during the Campout Talent show, Camper Comedy, Beat Boxing Competition or late night Karaoke, all while competing for the famed Ironbird Trophy and individual awarded patches.

Dirtybird Campout East Coast location is a lush green, tropical paradise, with nine distinct ecosystems, meadows for dance-floors, all surrounded by Florida waters. The location is an actual working Summer Camp and an easy drive from either Miami or Orlando.
