It’s officially summer! Time for cocktails on your balcony, on the beach, and at the newest rooftop lounge! Finally! If you’re a professional cocktail aficionado like me, you’ve been there, and done that. Feeling like you want some alcoholic excitement for your tongue? Me, too! Cocktails by Spence Club will send a beautifully packaged gift of heaven to your door every month. An easy to follow recipe, with a link to an instructional video, all of the equipment needed, ingredients such as special hard to find syrups and tonics, and even the fruit is delivered right to your door. (You do need to provide the actual alcohol, but that’s the easy part.) It’s basically, cocktail lessons in your home.
These aren’t the cocktails you’ve had a million times already, either. These are inventive cocktails you’ve probably never heard of. These are drinks your favorite bartender has probably never heard of. The box I tried was called “The Sailor’s Handshake”. See? I’m betting you never had this.
Ingredients:
2 oz White Rum
1 oz Lime Juice
1 oz Mango Syrup
Garnish with a Lime Wheel
Cocktails by Spence Club sent me a box filled with the ingredients, as well as a shaker, a lime squeezer, a strainer, and a recipe card to keep and refer to in the future. It was so easy, I had the cocktail made in three seconds, and so delicious, I drank it in about the same amount of time. No stress, no searching for cocktail tools in my tiny kitchen, just one, two, three and done! Anything that gets my cocktail to me sooner, I am all for!
