Chef Adrianne Calvo Wins Best Chef at 2014 Floridian Awards

Miami’s favorite risky redhead, Chef Adrianne Calvo has been named “Best Chef”  by The Floridian Awards III – Culinary Awards from TMG Entertainment.  On October 30th, these awards will be presented at the Wolfson Campus Auditorium as the first on-stage production Culinary Awards ceremony in South Florida.  Chef  Adrianne Calvo will be honored among her fellow South Floridian awardees by more than 300 significant leaders in the culinary industry to recognize their exemplary achievements.

In the midst of receiving such an accomplishment she is always creating innovative specials at her restaurant, Chef Adrianne’s Vineyard Restaurant and Wine Bar, stars in the online TV series called, Food As a Lifestyle and regularly appears on NBC 6 in the Mix for her segment “Maximum Flavor.”  When she is not busy in the kitchen, Chef Adrianne Calvo always gives back to the community including the Make It Count foundation she started.

One of the nation’s largest hunger-relief organizations, Feeding South Florida is the official beneficiary for The Floridian Awards III – Culinary Award.  The Floridian Awards is modeled after the “Silver State Awards” in Las Vegas, presented by Celebrity Chef Emeril Lagasse, Chef Wolfgang Puck, and Chef Kerry Simon hosted Robin Leach at the five-diamond hotel, Venetian Las Vegas. Over 14,000 votes have been casted.
