Cheers To Another Successful Sprung Spring Beer Festival
Sprung Spring Beer Festival was filled with the best in craft beers both local and from afar. Every year this event just seems to get better and better. Craft beer enthusiasts crowded the Old RC Plant streets in Wynwood. Food trucks were lined up filling hungry bellies. Vendors had a galore of beer themed goodies for sale.
So many awesome, exclusive beers to try and yummy bites to absorb the high ABV sips I was taking. Once I had my go around of the VIP area I was ready to walk all through the set up of different brewery tents. I was highly impressed with breweries that will soon be opening in Miami. One of them in particular was King Fox Brewery pouring an imperial Oreo stout, a peach grisette as well as a blackberry and raspberry Berliner Weisse called Black That Razz Up. Impressive! Silver Brewing Company served up their Peach of a Gringa Blonde Ale infused with fresh peaches, evident at each sip. I spotted Funky Buddha Brewery and had a pour of their limited edition (and my favorite) Last Snow Coconut & Coffee Porter, a rich, creamy porter is layered with coconut and freshly-roasted coffee.
Wynwood Brewing, MIA Beer Co., Cigar City Brewing, Sixpoint Brewing, Left Hand Brewing, the list goes on and on . . . Chances are everyone’s favorite brewery was there and if not I guarantee festival goers found a new favorite with the wide variety of craft beers available to try. There was also the Kitchen Lab with top notch chefs cooking up some recipes and giving out samples.
On my way out I picked up a cool shirt from Brewtiful Apparel and the most amazing scented candle custom made in a beer bottle. The Sprung Spring Beer Festival is definitely one event that I refuse to miss, my friends and I had a BLAST!
