Cantina La Veinte National Taco Day Celebration

Brickell’s newest waterfront Mexican import Cantina La Veinte National Taco Day is celebrating National Taco Day on Saturday, October 4, with high-end authentic bites from south of the border. Available for lunch only, executive chef Santiago Gomez will offer diners seven specialty tacos, priced at $4.50 each. Menu features:

 

Taco De Lengua

Slow cooked beef tongue chopped with onion and tomato steamed in banana leaves

Taco De Chamorro

Pork shank confit, cilantro, serrano chile, chopped onion and fried pork skin

Taco De Pulpo

Octopus with a guajillo citric emulsion, avocado puree and black bean purée

Taco De Huachinango A La Talla

Red snapper with a dried chili-mayo sauce topped with onion and cilantro

Taco Al Pastor

Pork marinated in adobo sauce, topped with chopped cilantro, onion & roasted pineapple purée

Taco De Hongos

Huitlacoche tortilla, bone marrow, parmesan cheese and truffle oil

Taco De Ostiones Crujientes

Breaded oysters with a chipotle mayo dressing topped with chives

 

Cantina La Veinte is located at 495 Brickell Avenue at Icon Brickell. Lunch and dinner served Monday – Wednesday, noon until midnight; Thursday – Saturday, noon – 1 a.m.  Sunday Brunch is served from noon – 5 p.m. and the restaurant is closed for dinner on Sundays.
