Aria Hotel Prague Review – The Best Hotel in Prague

Aria Hotel Prague Review – The Best Hotel in Prague

Prague, the majestic city of 100 spires and a very cheap exchange rate, is my favorite place in the world. I imagine myself on a royal promenade along the city’s cobblestone roads admiring the picturesque scenery and glorious architecture. Naturally, when I want to feel like a king, I check into the five star Aria Hotel Prague and immerse myself in its inviting grandeur.

The regal hotel was designed by Italian architects Rocco Magnoli and Lorenzo Carmelini, best known for their work with fashion legend Gianni Versace. The Aria Hotel’s resplendence greets you upon entering its gorgeous lobby with sculptures, paintings and a glass ceiling. I was also greeted with a welcome drink and a free speedy internet connection throughout my entire stay. Aria has an elegant and enchanting musical theme woven throughout the entire property that truly enhanced the experience.

This luxury hotel has a superb location, only a three minute walk from Charles Bridge. You will be enthralled by the private access to the scenic, baroque Vrtbovska Garden, as well as the spectacular Roof Garden Terrace with sweeping views of the entire illustrious city. Taking a deep breath and lingering a while is highly recommended.

The Aria hotel has four floors, each dedicated to a major genre of music, its decor paying homage to the greatest artists and composers of all time with CD’s, art and books.  Featured artists include Brahms, Bernstein for Classical; Elvis and Sinatra for Contemporary; Maria Callas and Mozart for Opera and Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong for Jazz.

Musical notes on the hallway carpet led the way towards my commodious accommodations. As I opened the door to my ravishing room, I was embraced by the soothing Classical music that began to stream from the speakers. Sometimes hotel rooms can exude a cold and sterile feeling, but this elegantly decorated room vibrated with a fantastic energy. Adding to the already marvelous sensations, was the BEST shower head I have ever experienced. Like an ample waterfall, water cascaded from it with such a blissful force that 30 minute minutes later, I was still enjoying this delicious deluge.

One of my favorite facets of my stay was at Coda, the incredible restaurant in the hotel. The splendid cuisine, devotion towards ingredients, sublime art & architecture, as well as the live pianist, created a symphonic ambiance for all of my senses. It was my favorite meal in Prague and you can see the full Coda review here.

There is also a stunning music salon featuring a striking wood-burning fireplace and rich distressed leather seating where I enjoyed after dinner drinks by the fire. The breakfast buffet is gratis and offers a scrumptious, wide array of food including European croissants, omelettes made to order, as well as fish, meat, cereal and fruit options.

Staying at the Aria Hotel Prague was one of the highlights of my phenomenal trip. The hotel is sumptuous, cozy and ingrained with love and music. The staff is warm, the location is perfect, and the restaurant stimulated all of my senses. If you are looking for the best hotel to stay in Prague, the Aria Hotel will easily exceed your lofty expectations.

  1. Is it a Library Collection hotel? I just stayed at the Aria in Budapest and it was fantastic. This one looks equally good.
