10 Course Dinner from Mignonette & NIU Kitchen Collaboration

Chef Daniel Serfer is partnering with Chef Deme Lomas of the Catalan-inspired concept, NIU Kitchen, on an exclusive Migniukitchenette culinary experience at Edgewater’s seafood mecca, Mignonette. Recently nominated by Food & Wine magazine as one of the People’s Best New Chefs, Lomas along with Co-owner and General Manager Karina Iglesias will bring their eclectic take on authentic Spanish cuisine to the one-night-only epicurean gathering on Monday, April 27, 2015.

Both restaurants, each in their first year of operation, have been hailed as some of the best spots in town and feature playful menus reflecting their chef’s personalities. The evening of gastronomic delights will feature a 10 course dinner of new dishes from each chef in the areas of crudo, soup/salad, seafood, protein and dessert. Gourmets will be able to enjoy eccentric dishes such as raw shrimp tartar and lamb braciole as part of the one-of-a-kind feast.

To complement the rich flavors of each course, the Migniukitchenette experience will include paired wines by Spanish label Cerdá, Llanos y Cía and will be priced at $150 per person (including gratuity and wine pairings). A reception with passed hor d’oeuvres will begin at 7PM. The 10  course dinner is limited to 40 seats and will begin promptly at 7:30PM. Reservations are required: (305) 374-4635. Mignonette is located at 210 NE 18th Street.

About Mignonette Miami

Mignonette is a charming restaurant in the heart of Miami’s up-and-coming Edgewater neighborhood by Chef/Restauranteur Daniel Serfer and business partner Ryan Roman. Housed in a 1930’s era gas station, Mignonette has been embraced as one of Miami’s best spots for foodies, oyster lovers and visitors looking for something unique and off-the-beaten-path. At its heart, Mignonette is a place to enjoy a great beer or glass of wine, slurp oysters, sample fine caviar, dig deep into a fried shrimp po’boy or savor one of Serfer’s beautifully-rendered main plates. Not your typical Miami locale, walking through the door is like stepping into a classic Northeastern oyster bar; as a result, Mignonette has been hailed as one of the city’s hottest restaurants since it opened in August 2014. Mignonette Miami is located at 210 NE 18th Street. The restaurant is open for dinner nightly; lunch is served Monday through Friday along with Happy Hour from 5:30 to 7PM.  Weekend brunch is served from 11:30AM to 3PM. Reservations strongly suggested. Telephone: (305) 374-4635; http://www.mignonettemiami.com.
